Bio
Olsen is a PhD-prepared lecturer and a Master level licensed mental health counselor. She received her Ph.D. in education from the University of Michigan and studied mental health counseling at Rollins College, graduating from the University of North Florida.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and fluent in Spanish, French, and conversational Créole, Ginette has lived and studied in three different cultures bringing with her over 20 years of experience in counseling, training, community development, culturally competent health care services, and is a national lecturer. Ginette has extensive experience among culturally diverse populations--men, women, and cross-cultural couples--in individual, marital, and group counseling. Parenting concerns, traumatic grief, inner healing prayer, and acculturation issues hold a special interest.
