Owner of Supportive Counseling, LLC. and registered with the Department of Health as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI IMH21076 ). Training in Uncovering Happiness with Mindful Self-Compassion Practices, MADD Death Notification, Psychological First Aid, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Florida Crisis Response.

My unique work within domestic violence shelters, mental health facilities, and the criminal justice systems honed my skills and exposed my passion for working with and counseling individuals in need. I have extensive system knowledge of the Criminal Justice System, Title IX, Protection Orders, and the police. My clinical experience is with Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma disorders.

Experience includes working as a Victim Specialist since 2014 at the University of Central Florida Police Department and the 9th Judicial State Attorney's Office. As a Victim Specialist, I provided crisis and mental health assistance in the community response to Pulse nightclub. I worked with families and victims at the Family Reunification Center and the Family Assistance Center. Currently, I lead as the Program Coordinator of Green Dot at UCF, a bystander intervention program focusing on ending violence on campus.

As a graduate from the University of Central Florida, I received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2014 with dual minors in Women's Studies and Criminal Justice and certificates in Leadership Studies and Victim Advocacy.

Finding the right counselor for you can be a process of trial and error but is less demanding when you know the traits all effective counselors will possess. The Ethical principles counselors abide by will ensure a counselor is acting in good faith. A counselor who has unconditional positive regard will support their client unconditionally. The non-judgmental and unbiased counselor creates a free and safe environment for a client to grow and change. When looking for a new counselor, consider if they possess these vital traits!
