Bio
I am a psychotherapist (LMHC) in private practice since 1995 in Winter Park, FL. I also hold an inactive license as a registered nurse. I have recently retired, but I am still particularly interested in the mind/body/spirit connection and negotiating life transitions at all ages. Most recently, one of my foci is on counseling seniors at the end of life, the "conversation", adjustment to the final exit and caring for caregivers.
My counseling process is informed by the solution-focused brief therapy model with an emphasis on mindfulness, wellness, and resilience. In the past I have worked with all ages individually and in groups. Currently I am available for phone consultation and referrals.
