TOPIC:   Image, Archetype, and Soul:  Jungian theories as a key to understanding the Self

 

DESCRIPTION:

Jungian psychology is a framework for understanding one’s own inner experience.  The psyche speaks in a deeply symbolic and meaningful language; this presentation will give an overview of the main theories and themes as a way to begin to understand and de-code this language as a means to greater self-insight and growth.


 

OBJECTIVES:

Participants will learn:

  1. An introduction to Jungian psychology and overview of main themes and theories.
  2. Three methods for applying theories to gain greater understanding of the inner world.  
  3. How to use a method of symbolic projection during a group exercise.
