DESCRIPTION: Dr. Rampil will walk us through the physiology of how pain becomes chronic and affects our emotions. She will give you tools to help optimize how your clients cope and deal with today’s medical system.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 

• To understand how pain becomes chronic
• To understand how pain can physically changes our emotions
• To learn emotional and mental tools that clinicians can teach clients to help them manage the pain
• To learn how to be a client advocate when helping clients with chronic pain deal with physicians.
