TOPIC: Toxic & Addictive Love: How to Help Those in the Cycle

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Understanding the roots/origins of love addiction
  2. Identifying characteristics of addictive love relationships
  3. Asserting healthy boundaries for more equal relationships


This workshop will address the painful and addictive love process that negatively impacts not only the love addict but also the individuals with whom they are in relationship.  Topics include what happens in our brain that makes it hard to break the cycle, highlights of cultural factors and attachment patterns that affect each of us leading to craving the perfect partner who will bring us endless happiness. 


Janie Lacy, LMHC, NCC, CSAT is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor & Certified Sex Addiction Therapist who owns Life Counseling Solutions in Maitland, Florida. She facilities Women Redeemed, a 12 week intensive for women who have a history of toxic love patterns.  She has had numerous appearances on National television and radio along with hosting numerous local events in Orlando.
