SPEAKER: Christine Hammond, M.S., LMHC

                     The Life Works Group

TOPIC: Narcissistic Personality Disorder

The superiority, domination, and aggression a narcissist exhibits in counseling are intimidation tactics designed to establish power and control. The effectiveness of their approach depends on counselors who succumb to the bullying to keep the peace. Those who attempt to avoid or resist the narcissist eventually become their target. This only adds to the ascendancy of the narcissist.

But there is another more effective way of handling a narcissist. Christine Hammond has personal and professional experience in successfully managing the narcissist. She has taught several continuing education classes on the subject and frequently writes articles on the subject. In her talk, she will explain:

  1. The ease of identifying the different types of narcissists
  2. The four magic ingredients that every narcissist needs to survive and how to use it to your benefit
  3. The best negotiation tactics to win an argument with a narcissist

Christine is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida with more than 15 years of experience in counseling, teaching and ministry.  She specializes in treating clients with personality disorders (Narcissism and Borderline), mental health disorders, addictions, ADD, OCD, co-dependency, anxiety, anger, and depression. She also treats clients with marriage and parenting issues. Christine is available for counseling, mentoring, and speaking. As a professional speaker, she has taught on personalities, personality disorders, stress, negotiation skills, anger management, boundaries, ADD/ADHD, marriages, parenting, and women’s issues.
