Presentation Summary:
In this presentation, the audience will be provided with an overview of Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) with a focus on Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting Principles. Mental health professionals will be equipped with effective TBRI® strategies to assist them in their work with challenging families.
Learning objectives:
Participants will be taught effective developmentally appropriate connection strategies to share with parents.
Speaker Bio:
Tanya Doyle, M.S., LMFT is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist at Connected Counseling Orlando. She owns and operates her private practice in the Hunter's Creek area of South Orlando where she specializes in relationships. Her passion is to help families heal, grow, and thrive through connected relationships and as a result impact communities one healthy family at a time. She received her MS in Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Tanya is also a Registered Play Therapist, Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner®, and speaker. One of her favorite roles as a therapist is co-leading Camp Connect. Camp Connect is an annual TBRI® based event where parents and children receive intensive, attachment rich experiences that facilitate healing and wholeness. Tanya is a "mom-preneur" of three humans and two fur-babies. With the support of her husband, she is afforded many fun and relatable experiences that help her relate to her couples.
