Topic:

Using Internal Family Systems Therapy to Treat Trauma: Internal Family Systems Therapy is a non-pathologising and respectful method of therapy that is effective in helping clients with trauma related disorders. IFS views the person as an interrelated system of parts, which often override the healthy Self. Participants will learn how to help clients unblend from their parts to allow for Self-Leadership.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the basics of the IFS model - The Self and Parts
2. Mindfully engage clients with trauma related issues
3. Use IFS to help clients with trauma histories
