Join us for an immersive experience where we will share practical and actionable tips to help you have a healthier 2024.  This event aims to equip mental health professionals with these identified key objectives that will be covered in this event. MHCCF is proud to sponsor the 2024 New Year's Breakfast event, with the goal of welcoming another new year, with purpose and intention!

Learning Objectives:

  1. Developing Resilience: Discover techniques to build your resilience, both personally and professionally, so you can better support your clients even during challenging times. 

  2. Effective Communication: Learn how to establish rapport, actively listen, and communicate effectively with your clients to enhance therapeutic outcomes. 

  3. Self-Care Strategies: Explore self-care practices that promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being, ensuring you can sustain your own mental health while caring for others. 

  4. Review a number of Words and Concepts all across the alphabet: Enhance your therapeutic dictionary! 

Speaker Bio:

Cherlette McCullough is a licensed marriage and family therapist, educator and advocate who is dedicated to highlighting the important role of mental health in fostering happiness, fulfillment, and overall wellness. She is the author of 2 self-help books and is the owner of Center Peace Therapy services. In her practice, she uses a strengths-based approach that empowers clients on their journey of self-love and mental wellness. Cherlette is active in her community through service. She currently serves on the following Board of Directors: Shepherds Hope, 26th Health, Park Ave District & Vice President for the mental health association of central Florida's Executive board.  Cherlette has been featured as a Mental Health expert on WESH-2, WKMG-6, ABC's Action News 6 Philadelphia, and WMFE-NPR radio. She was awarded the 2018 African American Woman Project Community Award, the 2019 Cheryl Laird Mental Health Community Advocate Award, the 2022  I-4 Business Magazine Entrepreneurial Spirit award and the 2022 Women's Executive Council Mental health wellness award. Cherlette is married to a sworn Deputy and is bonus mom to 3 children. Cherlette enjoys watching comedy, traveling, going to the Orlando Magics home games and spending time with her family.
