Presentation Summary:
This interactive training explores the intersection of attachment theory and relationship trauma, offering an in-depth understanding of how early attachment patterns influence adult relational dynamics. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of attachment-related trauma and explore practical strategies for promoting secure attachment in therapeutic settings. Through a blend of didactic teaching, real-life clinical examples, and interactive discussion, this session equips professionals with the tools to support clients in healing from relational wounds and building healthier, more connected relationships.

Speaker Bio:
Maisie Alicea, MS, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida. She has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Orlando, Florida. Maisie specializes in trauma and family systems therapy, passionate about working with couples, families and individuals that have experienced depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem issues, divorce and relationships issues. She derives joy from helping individuals, couples and families in exploring their relationship dynamics and their relationship journey.
