Presentation Summary:

Join us for Parts Work: Introduction to Internal Family Systems (IFS)—a warm, experiential session designed for therapists seeking to deepen their understanding of this compassionate, non-pathologizing model. We'll explore the foundational roles of Exiles, Managers, and Firefighters, and how the Self can lead the system with clarity and care. The highlight of the session is a live demonstration, offering a firsthand look at IFS techniques in action, including how to recognize and unblend from parts. Whether you're new to IFS or looking to refresh your approach, this presentation offers a welcoming space to connect with the model's healing potential.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify and describe the three core categories of parts within the IFS model—Exiles, Managers, and Firefighters—and understand their protective functions.

2. Explain the concept of the Self in IFS and how it serves as the internal healing presence capable of leading the system with compassion and clarity.

3. Demonstrate basic IFS techniques for recognizing and unblending from parts, promoting greater self-awareness and internal harmony.
