Presentation Summary:
This presentation provides a comprehensive and practical understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder in children. The presentation will also outline best practices in comprehensive autism evaluation, including developmental history, direct observation, standardized assessment tools, and mapping behaviors to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. Emphasis is placed on how early and accurate evaluation leads to targeted intervention and improved long-term outcomes for children and families. Speakers Bio:
Dr. Moresa Culbreath is a licensed school psychologist with over seventeen years of experience in psychological assessment and educational support for children and adolescents. She specializes in autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. She is the founder of We Care Support Services, a community-based organization providing comprehensive psychological evaluation, educational consultation, and vocational support services. Dr. Culbreath has extensive experience conducting school-based, clinical, and court-related psychological evaluations and collaborating with families, schools, and community agencies to improve access to care and long term outcomes.
